Background: Shared governance is a nursing management model that encourages nurse participation in decision-makingand fosters professional autonomy and accountability. It enhances structural empowerment by providing better access toinformation and resources, resulting in increased work engagement. Adopting this model is a strategic way to enhance nurse empowerment and engagement in their roles
