This study aims to explore the intertextual structure in the poetry of Abd-el-Kader El Djezairi, through an analytical approach based on tracing patterns of textual interaction within his poeticdiscourse. The study is grounded in the hypothesis that intertextuality in this poetry is not merelylimited to the evocation of absent texts; rather, it goes beyond that to become an active creative mechanism that contributes to the re-production of meaning and the shaping of poetic vision.
