Examining the Role of Parents in Enhancing Students' Motor Competencies

The present research was focused on exploring the impact of parenting styles on the increases in perceived motor competence in elementary school students. This descriptive-correlational survey design approach was used in this applied research. The target population consisted of male and female elementary school students in Tehran. However,using the cluster random sampling and the G*Power software, 172 students were used as the study sample. The data collection took place with the help of two standardized tools.
